Legal Review of Contracts or Agreements with Third Parties

The hospital arranges for legal review prior to signature of contracts by the CEO, Cancer Research Executive Committee Chair or Co-Chair - legal review forms part of the site sign off process.

Are template contracts available?

Yes - To speed up the review process the IPHA Model Template Clinical Trial Agreements (link to the IPHA website) should be used for all new clinical trials which have a commercial or industry sponsor.

Other Template agreements which you can adapt to your own study are available on request from legalresearch@beaumont.ie

CERC template agreements are used by academic institutions based in the Republic of Ireland. CERC stands for Corporate Enabling of Clinical Research. The Contracts Office (Clinical Research) in the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, for example, uses CERC templates when drafting agreements.
