Please note- Please include information leaflets and consent forms in your submission unless not required (e.g. certain chart review studies)
- Please use this committee's template information leaflets and consent forms as it makes it easier for the hospital DPO to identify if the mandatory data protection content is present.
- External applicants unable to use the committee templates for any reason will be sent a 'template non-use letter'
- Please include the Beaumont Hospital and RCSI DPIA TPIA for Research and Clinical Trials in your submission unless a DPIA is not required (e.g. anonymous survey study)
- Please include signed final RCSI CSRF / MDIF in your submission unless a CSRF / MDIF is not required (i.e. RCSI plays no role in the study)

If the study involves RCSI, engage with the RCSI Sponsorship Office (or Contracts Office) in March/April 2024
Submit to ethics on 10th May 2024.
The submission will be validated. The aim is that applications submitted on the 10th May will be deemed valid by the 24th May 2024.
Once valid, the ethics administration team will forward the DPIA, Information Leaflets and Consent Forms to the hospital data protection officer, and convey any feedback from the DPO to you.
Once feedback has been addressed to the satisfaction of the DPO, th aim is to distribute to committee members by the 11th June 2024 13 submissions were distributed to members on this date
The committee meeting will be on the 21st June 2024
The ethics administrator will aim to send you questions raised by committee members within 10 working days of the meeting.
Your responses to questions raised will be scheduled for review once received.
Overflow meeting: 26th July 2024 Eligible submissions will be distributed to members on the 16th July.
No Meeting in August 2024
Please note- only when full research ethics committee approval is in place may you commence the hospital Site Sign Off Process
